Dr. Xuan Lam, DMD
Dr. Xuan Lam, DMD originally from Vietnam, immigrated to the United States at a young age and was raised in Monterey Park, California. Her journey into dentistry began when she met with Dr. Westwood at UC Riverside, sparking her decision to join him in the dental profession. Dr. Lam earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
After graduating, she served in the U.S. Navy and gained experience in private practice before pursuing specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda University. Following the completion of her residency, Dr. Lam and Dr. Westwood settled in San Diego, where they chose to raise their family. Board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association, Dr. Lam is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care for children. In her leisure time, she enjoys jogging and engaging in spirited attempts to play soccer with her kids and Dr. Westwood.
Dr. Nicholas Westwood, DMD
Nicholas Westwood, a proud San Diego native raised in Pacific Beach and a Mission Bay Buccaneer, earned his dental degree from the esteemed University of Pennsylvania. Following dental school, he served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy alongside the Marine Corps, fulfilling a tour of duty in Iraq. After his honorable service, Dr. Westwood pursued advanced prosthodontic residency training at the University of Pittsburgh.
Now back in San Diego, Dr. Westwood has proudly taken over the family dental office, originally established by his grandfather and uncle. With a commitment to maintaining the practice's warm and familial atmosphere, he approaches dentistry with both compassion and conservatism. Dr. Westwood values the development of long-term relationships with his patients, embodying a dedication to excellence in care and a heartfelt connection to his community. Outside of his professional life, he finds joy in playing soccer with his children and riding the waves while surfing.
